We're forecasting the Idaho Vandals to post a double-digit win tonight when they play host to a poor road team in Long Beach St.
The Vandals are 5-11 overall and just 2-5 in Big West conference play following last week's split in California. They won 63-57 in OT at UC Riverside before failing to take advantage of a fast start when they lost 70-59 at Cal St. Fullerton. Idaho have a very good record in bouncing back from defeats against conference rivals, going 17-8 ATS the last three seasons off a Big West loss.
Long Beach St own a similar overall record to Idaho at 5-11 but are 3-4 in the Big West. They had lost four straight games prior to an exciting 77-74 OT win over UC Irvine on Saturday night. The 49ers are winless in seven road games this season and most recently have been blown-out at Northridge and Pacific. They have covered just two of seven on the highway and their average losing margin in those losses is a whopping 19.8 points per game.
We'll lay the wood tonight as we expect Idaho to get back on track with a solid home win.
